Latenode

Automatically sync new HoneyBook projects to Trello boards

This template starts when HoneyBook posts a newly booked project to a Latenode webhook, maps project name, client, and due date in JavaScript, and creates a Trello card on the board and list you set. Point HoneyBook at the webhook URL. Put the Trello API key in that JavaScript node. Put the HoneyBook API key in the same node if you need to load extra project fields.

How Latenode estimates time and cost

Latenode bills workflow runtime in CPU seconds. The first 10,000 CPU seconds are free each month, then usage follows pay-as-you-go CPU-second pricing. Plug-and-Play (PnP) AI nodes are billed separately—each PnP token is $1 USD, charged pay-as-you-go at vendor cost plus a small processing fee, with no API keys required.

What this template does

  • Creates a Trello card when HoneyBook books a project
  • Takes HoneyBook events on a webhook
  • Uses the project name as the card title
  • Keeps the Trello API key in the JavaScript node

How it works

1
Trigger

Receive the HoneyBook project

A webhook starts the run when HoneyBook POSTs a newly booked project.

2
Logic

Map the project fields

JavaScript reads project name, client, and due date. Put the HoneyBook API key in that JavaScript node if you fetch extra fields.

3
Action

Create the Trello card

The same JavaScript node calls the Trello API. Put the Trello API key in that node. The project name becomes the card title.

Setup guide

1

Create the Latenode webhook

Add a webhook trigger and copy the URL into HoneyBook so new booked projects POST here.

2

Store the Trello key in JavaScript

Put the Trello API key and token in the JavaScript node. Set the destination board and list there.

3

Map project to card

Use the HoneyBook project name as the card title and put client plus due date in the description. Put the HoneyBook API key in that JavaScript node if the webhook payload needs a follow-up fetch. Book a test project and confirm the card.

Requirements

A HoneyBook account that can POST new booked projects to a webhook
A Trello API key stored in the JavaScript node
A Trello board and list that key can write to

Common questions about this template

Each run uses credits on your Latenode plan. We charge for processing time (1 credit = 30 seconds). Your actual cost depends on your plan and how long the run takes. See pricing plans for plans and how credits work.
