Automate posting Loomly content to Buffer queues

This template checks Loomly on a schedule, lists new calendar posts in JavaScript, and adds each update to a Buffer queue.

Put the Loomly API key in the JavaScript node that lists posts. Put the Buffer access token in the JavaScript node that queues the update. Map caption, media, and the Buffer profile id for the social account you want.

How Latenode estimates time and cost

Latenode bills workflow runtime in CPU seconds. The first 10,000 CPU seconds are free each month, then usage follows pay-as-you-go CPU-second pricing. Plug-and-Play (PnP) AI nodes are billed separately—each PnP token is $1 USD, charged pay-as-you-go at vendor cost plus a small processing fee, with no API keys required.

What this template does

  • Moves new Loomly posts into a Buffer queue on a schedule
  • Calls Loomly from JavaScript with the key in that node
  • Calls Buffer from JavaScript with the token in that node
  • Skips posts you already queued

How it works

1
Trigger

Run on a schedule

The scenario starts on the cadence you set so new calendar posts are picked up.

2
Logic

List new Loomly posts

JavaScript calls the Loomly API, keeps items you have not queued yet, and shapes caption and media URLs. Put the Loomly API key in that node.

3
Action

Queue the post in Buffer

A second JavaScript node adds the update to the Buffer channel you choose. Put the Buffer access token in that node.

Setup guide

1

Store the Loomly key

Add a JavaScript node that lists new calendar posts. Put the Loomly API key in that node.

2

Store the Buffer token

Add a JavaScript node that posts to the Buffer API. Put the Buffer access token there and map the Buffer profile id.

3

Set the schedule and map media

Add a schedule. Skip posts you already queued. Map caption and media from Loomly into the Buffer update. Create a test Loomly post and confirm it lands in the Buffer queue.

Requirements

A Loomly calendar and API key stored in the JavaScript node that lists posts
A Buffer access token stored in the JavaScript node that queues updates
A Buffer profile id for the social account that should receive the queue
