Automatically tag Practice Better contacts in ActiveCampaign

This template takes a Practice Better enrollment on a Latenode webhook, maps email and name in JavaScript, then creates or updates that contact in ActiveCampaign and adds the enrollment tag you choose.

Connect ActiveCampaign and put the ActiveCampaign API key on that connection. Point Practice Better enrollment notifications at the webhook URL. If Practice Better cannot post, run on a schedule and call the Practice Better API from JavaScript with the Practice Better API key in that node.

How Latenode estimates time and cost

Latenode bills workflow runtime in CPU seconds. The first 10,000 CPU seconds are free each month, then usage follows pay-as-you-go CPU-second pricing. Plug-and-Play (PnP) AI nodes are billed separately—each PnP token is $1 USD, charged pay-as-you-go at vendor cost plus a small processing fee, with no API keys required.

What this template does

  • Tags the ActiveCampaign contact when someone enrolls in Practice Better
  • Takes enrollments in on a Latenode webhook
  • Creates or updates the contact by email, then adds the tag
  • Keeps the ActiveCampaign API key on the ActiveCampaign connection

How it works

1
Trigger

Receive the enrollment

The scenario starts when Practice Better posts a new enrollment to the Latenode webhook. If you poll instead, run on a schedule and call the Practice Better API from JavaScript with the Practice Better API key in that node.

2
Logic

Map the contact

JavaScript reads email, name, and program from the payload and shapes fields plus the tag for ActiveCampaign.

3
Action

Create or update and tag

ActiveCampaign creates the contact or updates the record with the same email, then adds the enrollment tag.

Setup guide

1

Add the webhook

Add a webhook trigger. In Practice Better, send new-enrollment notifications to that URL.

2

Connect ActiveCampaign

Add an ActiveCampaign connection and paste your ActiveCampaign API key there.

3

Map and tag

In JavaScript, map email, name, and program, and set the tag name. Create or update the contact, then add the tag. If Practice Better cannot post, poll on a schedule with the Practice Better API key in the JavaScript node.

Requirements

Practice Better able to post enrollments to a webhook, or a Practice Better API key for polling in JavaScript
An ActiveCampaign account that can create contacts and add tags
An ActiveCampaign API key stored on the ActiveCampaign connection
