Sync new Google Tasks to your central Todoist project

This automation template automatically syncs new tasks created in Google Tasks to the Todoist task management platform.

Users can specify a Todoist project where the corresponding tasks will be created, allowing them to manage all their tasks in one central location. The integration streamlines task management by eliminating the need to manually copy tasks between the two platforms, saving users time and improving productivity.

How Latenode estimates time and cost

Latenode bills workflow runs in credits: 1 credit = 30 seconds of processing. Minimum charge per run depends on your plan. Plug-and-Play (PnP) AI nodes are billed separately—each PnP token is $1 USD, charged pay-as-you-go at vendor cost plus a small processing fee, with no API keys required.

What this template does

  • Automatically creates Todoist tasks for new Google Tasks
  • Allows users to specify a Todoist project for synced tasks
  • Eliminates manual task duplication between Google Tasks and Todoist
  • Consolidates task management in a single Todoist workspace
  • Saves time by automating the task sync process

How it works

1
Trigger

Connect to Google Tasks

Authenticate and authorize access to your Google Tasks account. This step establishes a connection between the automation and your Google Tasks data, allowing the integration to detect and respond to new tasks.

2
Logic

Select Todoist Project

Choose the Todoist project where new tasks from Google Tasks will be created. This allows you to manage all your tasks in one central location within the Todoist task management platform.

3
Action

Create Task in Todoist

When a new task is added to Google Tasks, the automation will create a corresponding task in the selected Todoist project. This step syncs the new task from Google Tasks to Todoist, eliminating the need to manually copy tasks between the two platforms.

Setup guide

1

Add Google Tasks Credential

In the Latenode Credentials panel, add a new credential for Google Tasks. Follow the OAuth flow to authorize Latenode to access your Google Tasks account.

2

Add Todoist Credential

In the Latenode Credentials panel, add a new credential for Todoist. Obtain an API key from your Todoist account and securely store it in the Latenode Secrets panel.

3

Configure Google Tasks Trigger

In the Latenode visual builder, add a Google Tasks trigger node. Configure the node to watch for new tasks created in your Google Tasks account.

4

Map Google Tasks to Todoist

In the Todoist node settings, map the relevant fields from the Google Tasks trigger (e.g., task title, description, due date) to the corresponding Todoist task fields. Select the Todoist project where you want the new tasks to be created.

5

Test and Activate the Workflow

Test the workflow by creating a new task in your Google Tasks account and verifying that it is automatically created in the specified Todoist project. When you're satisfied with the integration, activate the workflow in Latenode.

Sync Cognito Forms leads to ActiveCampaign with smart tagging

This automation integration allows users to automatically create or update contacts in ActiveCampaign based on new form submissions in Cognito Forms. When a new entry is submitted in Cognito Forms, the integration will search for an existing contact with a matching email address in ActiveCampaign. If a match is found, the contact will be updated with a specific tag for management purposes. If no match is found, a new contact will be created in ActiveCampaign with the same tag applied. This streamlines the process of managing leads and customer data across these two platforms, saving time and reducing the risk of manual errors.

Automatically translate new Discord messages using Google Cloud Translate

This automation integrates Discord and Google Translate to monitor specific Discord channels for new messages. When a new message is detected, the automation will automatically translate the text into a target language using Google Translate and then post the translated message back to Discord or another destination. This allows users to stay connected with their communities across language barriers, facilitating global collaboration and discussion within the Discord platform.
