Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Clio, Slack, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Clio and Slack integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Clio and Slack (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Clio and Slack
Clio + Google Calendar + Slack: When a new matter (case) is opened in Clio, a corresponding event is created in Google Calendar. A notification is then sent to a designated Slack channel to inform the legal team about the new case and calendar event.
Slack + Clio + Zoom: When a new message is posted in a Slack channel about a specific case (identified via keywords), a Zoom meeting is automatically created and the details (meeting link, etc.) are logged as a note in Clio for that matter.
