Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Front, Spotify, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Front and Spotify integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Front and Spotify (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Front and Spotify

Front + Spotify + Slack: When a new event occurs in Front, the workflow checks if the message content contains specific keywords (e.g., 'song', 'music', 'Spotify'). If a keyword is found, the currently playing song from Spotify is retrieved and posted to a designated Slack channel.

Front + Spotify + Google Sheets: When a new event occurs in Front, the workflow checks if a support ticket is resolved. If so, it captures the currently playing song from Spotify. That song information is added as a new row to a Google Sheet, tracking the music being played during ticket resolution.
