Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Notion, Vapi, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Notion and Vapi integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Notion and Vapi (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Notion and Vapi
Notion + Vapi + Google Calendar: When a new page is created in a Notion database, it triggers Vapi to create an outbound phone call. Once the call is created, a corresponding event is added to Google Calendar.
Vapi + Notion + Slack: When a new outbound phone call is created with Vapi, the details of the call are logged as a new page in a Notion database. A summary of the call is then sent to a designated Slack channel.
