Sync Asana tasks to Motion to streamline project schedules

This automation allows Asana users to seamlessly integrate their project management workflows with Motion's scheduling platform.

Whenever a new task is created in an Asana project, this integration will automatically sync and create a corresponding task in Motion. This helps teams stay aligned between their Asana project planning and Motion's scheduling capabilities, streamlining project management and task coordination across the two platforms.

How Latenode estimates time and cost

Latenode bills workflow runs in credits: 1 credit = 30 seconds of processing. Minimum charge per run depends on your plan. Plug-and-Play (PnP) AI nodes are billed separately—each PnP token is $1 USD, charged pay-as-you-go at vendor cost plus a small processing fee, with no API keys required.

What this template does

  • Automatically creates a corresponding task in Motion whenever a new task is added to an Asana project
  • Keeps Asana project planning and Motion's scheduling in sync, avoiding manual duplication of tasks
  • Ensures teams have a single source of truth for project tasks across both platforms
  • Saves time by eliminating the need to manually create tasks in Motion
  • Enables teams to manage their projects more efficiently across Asana and Motion

How it works

1
Trigger

New task created in Asana

When a new task is added to an Asana project, this integration is triggered.

2
Action

Map Asana task details

The key details of the new Asana task, such as title, description, and due date, are mapped to corresponding fields for a new task in Motion.

3
Action

Create task in Motion

A new task is then automatically created in Motion, with the details from the Asana task.

4
Logic

Align project management and scheduling

This helps keep the project management work in Asana and the scheduling in Motion in sync, streamlining the overall workflow.
