Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Box, Square, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Box and Square integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Box and Square (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Box and Square

Square + Box + Slack: When a new paid order is created in Square, a copy of the order details is automatically uploaded to a designated folder in Box for record-keeping. A notification is then sent to a specified Slack channel to inform the sales team of the new order.

Square + QuickBooks + Box: Upon creation of a paid order in Square, the sales data is sent to QuickBooks to create an invoice. A copy of the Square transaction is then stored in Box for accounting records.
