Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Canva and Google slides integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Canva and Google slides (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Canva and Google slides
Canva + Google Slides + Slack: When a new presentation is created in Google Slides, the automation checks Canva for linked design assets (images). Then, a notification is sent to a specified Slack channel, informing the team about the updated presentation with links to the Canva designs.
Google Slides + Canva + Google Forms: When a new response is submitted in Google Forms, the automation retrieves the presentation title from Google Slides and finds a related Canva design asset. This information is then used to provide context or incorporate data from the form response into the presentation.
