Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Clockify, Wave, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Clockify and Wave integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Clockify and Wave (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Clockify and Wave

Clockify + Wave + Slack: When a new time entry is created in Clockify, the flow checks if the time entries for the associated project exceed a predefined budget. If the budget is exceeded, an invoice draft is created in Wave and a notification is sent to the project manager in Slack.

Wave + Clockify + Google Sheets: When a new invoice is created in Wave, the total invoiced amount is recorded in Google Sheets. Then, team member hours are retrieved from Clockify to calculate profitability per employee, and the results are updated in Google Sheets.
