Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Fillout, Grist, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Fillout and Grist integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Fillout and Grist (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Fillout and Grist
Fillout + Grist + Slack: When a new submission is received in Fillout, the data from the submission is used to create a new record in Grist. Subsequently, a Slack message is sent to a specified channel to notify the team about the new Grist record.
Grist + Fillout + Airtable: When a record is created or updated in Grist, the updated data is used to populate a Fillout form, and then a new record is created in Airtable with the populated form data.
