Depending on your setup, data should flow between Ghost and Gender API (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Ghost and Gender API
Ghost + Gender API + Google Sheets: When a new post is published in Ghost, the automation extracts the author's name and infers their gender using the Gender API. This information, along with post details, is then added to a Google Sheets spreadsheet for diversity tracking.
Ghost + Gender API + Slack: When a new member is created in Ghost, their gender is inferred via the Gender API using their name. A message is then sent to a Slack channel to notify the team about the new member and their inferred gender.
