Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Github, HeyGen, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Github and HeyGen integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Github and HeyGen (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Github and HeyGen

Github + HeyGen + Slack: When a new push event occurs in a Github repository, a video explaining the changes is generated using HeyGen. The generated video link is then sent to a designated Slack channel.

Github + HeyGen + Discord bot: When file content is created or updated in a Github repository, HeyGen generates a video based on the new documentation. The Discord bot then sends a message to a specified channel notifying users about the updated content and providing a link to the video.
