Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Docparser, Wave, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Docparser and Wave integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Docparser and Wave (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Docparser and Wave

Docparser + Wave + Google Sheets: Automatically extract invoice data from Docparser when a new document is parsed, create a corresponding invoice in Wave, and then log the invoice details along with a link to the document in Google Sheets for easy tracking and reporting.

Wave + Docparser + Slack: When an invoice is marked as paid in Wave, Docparser fetches the document (assuming the invoice document URL is stored somewhere accessible) extracts the invoice data, and then sends a confirmation message to a dedicated Slack channel, including key details like the amount paid and the customer name.
