Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring RingCentral, Slack, and any additional nodes, donโ€™t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking โ€œRun onceโ€ and triggering an event to check if the RingCentral and Slack integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between RingCentral and Slack (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect RingCentral and Slack

RingCentral + Google Sheets + Slack: When a call is missed in RingCentral, the details are logged in a Google Sheet. At the end of the day, a summary of all missed calls from the sheet is sent to a designated Slack channel.

Slack + Jira + RingCentral: When a message containing specific keywords (e.g., 'critical support issue') is posted in a Slack channel, a Jira ticket is created. A RingCentral call is then initiated to address the issue promptly.
