Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Clockify, Bouncer, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Clockify and Bouncer integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Clockify and Bouncer (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Clockify and Bouncer
Clockify + Slack: When a new time entry is created in Clockify, the automation checks the total billable time. If the total billable time exceeds a predefined limit, a notification is sent to the manager in Slack to prevent budget overruns.
Bouncer + Clockify + Google Sheets: When Bouncer detects a blocked attempt (although no trigger exists), this will check credits and log the event, along with associated Clockify time entry details, into a Google Sheet for analysis.
