Quick answer: the best Boomi alternative for each need

Pick a Boomi alternative by need: MuleSoft fits API-led integration, Workato process automation and SnapLogic data and app pipelines, while Informatica suits consumption-priced data management. Jitterbit publishes its edition limits, and Celigo prices flat by endpoints and flows. SAP Integration Suite and Azure Logic Apps suit SAP and Azure estates. Tray.ai sells agent tooling by quote, Matillion bills pipelines by run time, Integrate.io charges a fixed fee for ETL and ELT, and Latenode covers low-code workflows with AI models.

Facts come from vendors' own pricing and documentation pages as of September and October 2026; tools are listed by need, not ranked.

What Boomi is and why teams look at alternatives

Boomi sells the Boomi Enterprise Platform as four separate products: Integration, API Management, Data Hub and Data Integration. Subscription editions go through sales on annual terms, with no public price list. The exception is Pay-As-You-Go, which Boomi's FAQ prices from $99 a month plus a flat $0.05 per Boomi Message. Boomi's pricing page advertises it with no contract and self-service signup by credit card. But the Pay-As-You-Go FAQ (updated July 16, 2026) says it is currently open only to active trial users, who opt in during the 30-day trial, so confirm before relying on it.

"On October 1, 2021, we completed the sale of Boomi and certain related assets to Francisco Partners and TPG Capital for a total cash consideration of approximately $4.0 billion"

Source: sec.gov

Boomi's own explainer defines integration platform as a service (iPaaS) as a way to unify data and applications through API-first architecture and low-code tools. Boomi says its platform keeps integrations synchronized across cloud, on-premises and edge environments. Each process runs on a runtime: an Atom, renamed a basic runtime in March 2025, holds everything a process needs from end to end, including connectors and transformation rules. You can install runtimes on Amazon, Azure or Google infrastructure or on your own server, or let Boomi host them, though Boomi prices its dedicated and managed cloud runtimes through its account team. Boomi also covers EDI: Pay-As-You-Go includes it with unlimited trading partners.

Dell acquired Boomi in 2010, per a May 2, 2021 release on Boomi's site announcing its sale to Francisco Partners and TPG Capital. The sale completed October 1, 2021, per Dell's Form 10-Q. As of October 2026, Francisco Partners lists Boomi as a current investment. Boomi's 2026 press releases do not name its owners.

Teams compare because subscription prices come only from sales, connections and Flow launches cost extra, and enterprise connectors such as SAP and Oracle need a separate license per connection.

Support and some runtime features also depend on the edition. Boomi's editions documentation (updated July 23, 2026) gives every Integration edition, from the entry Base edition up, Basic Support with 5 support cases a year. Boomi's pricing page lists only email and community support, with no phone support, for its standard features, so confirm support terms with Boomi. Enhanced Support, with unlimited cases and one-hour 24/7 response for Severity 1 issues, is not offered on Base and costs extra above it. Base also lacks parallel processing and runtime clusters, and message queuing is included only in Enterprise Plus. Boomi's May 13, 2026 release calls Boomi the data activation company for AI, so ask how integration fits that plan before a multi-year renewal.

1. MuleSoft: best for API-led integration and API governance

MuleSoft has been part of Salesforce since Salesforce completed its acquisition on May 2, 2018. MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform comes in packages built around a capability: governing APIs and AI, managing agents, connecting apps, processing documents, or the complete platform. Each includes Mule Credits, one unit drawn from a shared pool across integrations, API management, automation and agents. That lets a Boomi team that buys Integration and API Management separately run both from one budget.

"Every package includes Mule Credits. Spend them on anything MuleSoft does."

Source: mulesoft.com

As of October 2026, MuleSoft's pricing page says packages start at $2,000 a month, billed annually. It publishes no credit allocation per package and no credit rate, only yearly volumes on package cards, such as API and model calls. All three buying models are marked billed annually, yet Pre-Commit, with a $50K minimum annual commitment, is paid monthly; Pre-Purchase has no minimum, Unlimited a custom fixed price.

MuleSoft's UNIFY offer, a vendor's own migration program, names Boomi among the platforms it moves customers off. A 30-day free trial covers the full portfolio with no credit card. Until sales sizes your credits and billing, the real cost stays unknown.

2. Workato: best for process automation across many teams

Workato covers application integration and process automation with 1,200+ prebuilt connectors and unlimited workspaces and users. Its pricing page (October 2026) shows no price for any of its four editions. Each builds on the one below: Standard; Business MCP, adding API management and ETL, ELT and reverse ETL; Enterprise MCP, adding data pipelines and event streams; and Workato ONE, with Agent Studio.

Workato's documentation (September 2026) measures usage in Workato credits. According to Workato's self-service documentation, as of September 2026, Workato Free is a one-time grant of 50,000 credits and Workato Pro runs from $75 a month for 2,500 credits a month to $1,275 a month for 50,000. The pricing page does not list these plans, and unused Pro credits expire at the end of each billing month. Confirm prices with Workato before purchase.

Its Accelerated Migration Program, a vendor's own migration program, says its experts include former MuleSoft and Boomi solution architects. EDI, extra concurrency and on-premise agents are sold as add-ons.

3. SnapLogic: best for data and app pipelines in one package

In its own description, SnapLogic is an agentic integration and applied AI platform whose Enterprise MCP turns pipelines into tools AI agents can call. It sells Essential, Professional and Enterprise One packages priced by the data and application endpoints you connect. The price is the same on GroundPlex or CloudPlex, and the packages are also sold through the AWS, Azure and Google cloud marketplaces.

SnapLogic's AI assistant, SnapGPT, is in SnapLogic's words the agentic assistant for the full integration lifecycle. It generates and refines integrations from a plain-language request, helps with SQL queries and mapping expressions, and explains existing pipelines and writes their documentation.

For a Boomi team used to paying per connection, the draw is that pipelines, data movement and integrations are unlimited inside a package. SnapLogic says its data ingestion is unlimited with no catches and that you can create as many connections to an endpoint as you need.

Unlimited covers data volume and connections, though, not every capability. Per SnapLogic's pricing page, which publishes no package prices, premium Snap Packs (groups of prebuilt connectors) are sold a la carte, and AgentCreator, API Management, ELT and Advanced Security are paid upgrades.

4. Informatica: best for data management on one consumption pool

Informatica from Salesforce meters its Intelligent Data Management Cloud in Processing Units (IPUs). One pool covers every eligible cloud service in its Cloud and Product Description Schedule, with master data management also available on a per-domain records basis. Informatica says it expects eligible new services to be activated automatically for existing customers, from the same pool, with eligibility set by that schedule.

That suits a Boomi estate where master data and bulk ingestion matter as much as app integration. You get one IPU budget instead of a separate Data Integration product, tracked on a real-time dashboard with threshold alerts.

Pricing is by quote, and the pricing page sends buyers to a form for a sample price range. Forecasting is the weak spot. Informatica calculates IPU consumption per scaler, from usage such as Secure Agent, CDI-e and Data Mass Ingestion volume, under rules held in a separate Informatica Measurement Guide. Ask for that guide before sizing a contract.

5. Jitterbit: best for edition limits you can compare before a quote

Jitterbit publishes no prices, but its pricing page is a detailed edition table with a Request a Quote button. The iPaaS Standard, Professional and Enterprise editions list 2-3, 5 and 8 or more connections, 2, 2 and 4 private agents, and 2, 99 and 99 environments. Support response targets are 48, 24 and 6 hours, with unlimited cases a year on every edition.

A Boomi team that already thinks in connections and environments can map its usage to an edition before the sales call. App Builder adds four editions allowing 4, 10, 20 and a custom number of apps, with no per-user fees.

Every product needs an annual contract with custom pricing. Some of the AI help costs extra: the APIM AI Assistant is marked as an add-on, and App Builder's AI Assistant is footnoted as a paid add-on.

6. Celigo: best for flat pricing by endpoints and flows

Celigo prices by the endpoints and flows you subscribe to, at a flat rate rather than per task or transaction. It states that it has no volume-based charges and no overage fees. Next to Boomi Pay-As-You-Go, which adds $0.05 per Boomi Message to a $99 monthly fee, that takes message volume out of the price.

Its Standard, Professional and Enterprise editions differ by capability, not by a published price. Standard has MFA and role-based access with optional SSO, Professional adds API Builder, Lookup Cache and a sandbox, and Enterprise includes unlimited endpoints. Every edition comes with an Agent Builder and an MCP Server, built-in API management covers RESTful, SOAP, GraphQL and WebSocket APIs, and there is a 30-day free trial.

Celigo also targets NetSuite estates. Its NetSuite page describes integration apps as fully managed, prebuilt solutions for common pairings such as NetSuite to Salesforce or NetSuite to Shopify, next to customizable integration templates and platform flows that can connect any endpoint.

Celigo shows no list prices, so you learn the flat rate only from a quote.

7. SAP Integration Suite: best for SAP landscapes

SAP's own count, per its pricing page (October 2026), is more than 3,400 prebuilt integrations. SAP-to-SAP integrations with prebuilt content are listed as unlimited free messages. The starter edition already lists IDoc and RFC adapters, where Boomi needs a separate enterprise license for each SAP connection.

SAP's US list prices, as of October 2026, are per tenant per month on a 3 to 36 month contract with auto-renewal: USD 1,728.00 for starter, USD 5,339.00 for standard and USD 7,688.00 for enhanced. SAP's comparison table lists 50K messages a month for starter, 10K for the pricier standard edition and 500K for enhanced, so the allowance does not rise with the price; confirm it with SAP before purchase. Extra messages cost USD 7.00 a month per block of 10,000, and each further 250 KB, or part of it, above the first 250 KB counts as another message.

SAP's pricing page still lists its AI features, such as natural-language iFlow generation, under a fair use waiver until September 2026. Charges under SAP's AI Units policy may now apply, so check SAP's current terms.

8. Azure Logic Apps: best for teams already running on Azure

Logic Apps Consumption is a pay-as-you-go, multi-tenant plan that meters every trigger, action and connector execution. Standard is a single-tenant, containerized runtime billed as compute. It can run workflows locally, in the cloud or on premises with virtual network capabilities, which makes it the closer match for Boomi teams running their own runtimes.

Prices here are as of September 2026, for the West US 2 region in US dollars. Azure calls them estimates that vary by region, agreement type, purchase date and exchange rate. On Consumption the first 4,000 actions are free (the page does not say whether that resets monthly), then each action costs $0.000025, pay as you go.

Connector calls cost $0.000125 per standard call and $0.001 per enterprise call on Consumption and Standard ($0 and $0.01 on the newer Automation offering). One action can make more than one call. Standard costs $140.16 per vCPU per month plus $10.001 per month for memory in an unnamed unit, so you cannot work out its monthly total from the page alone.

For EDI you need a separate Integration Account, billed on top, from $0.42 per hour for Basic, which allows one EDI trading agreement and two trading partners.

Power Automate for Microsoft 365 teams

Microsoft also sells Power Automate. Microsoft's comparison calls it and Logic Apps designer-first platforms with similar designers and overlapping connectors. The comparison aims Power Automate at business users and citizen developers building simple integrations without code, such as a SharePoint approval flow, while Logic Apps stretches to codeful and B2B workflows. A Power Automate flow can call a Logic Apps workflow. As of October 2026, Premium costs $15.00 per user per month, paid yearly, with cloud flows and attended desktop flows (RPA). Process, for unattended desktop flows, costs $150.00 per bot per month, paid yearly. A 30-day free trial covers cloud flows and standard connectors.

9. Tray.ai: best for agent and MCP tooling on a quoted plan

Every Tray.ai plan includes process automation, data integration, API management, 700+ connectors and AI tooling, plus a headless mode with Claude Code and Codex plugins and Headless MCP. Tray.ai also offers a no-code Agent Builder and an Agent Gateway for MCP services, which suits a Boomi team whose next projects are agents.

Pro, Team and Enterprise are priced by custom quote based on usage and features, with usage measured in Tasks that cover integration, automation, MCP and agents. As of October 2026 Tray.ai publishes no prices for these plans. The plan cards lead to a demo or a sales call, and the free trial also goes through sales. Pro covers 3 workspaces, Team 20 workspaces with log masking, and Enterprise unlimited workspaces with advanced on-premise connectivity, SSO, HIPAA and regional hosting.

Agent tooling is billed separately. The Agent Development add-on bundles the Agent Gateway for MCP and the Merlin Agent Builder, and SSO, HIPAA and regional hosting are also sold as add-ons.

10. Matillion: best for data pipelines billed only while they run

Matillion now also markets its platform as Maia, which it calls its agentic data team, and bills through consumption-based credits. Per Matillion's pricing page, as of October 2026, credits are consumed by task hours, charged only while a pipeline runs, and by developer users beyond those included. The maia.ai pricing page calls the unit Maia Credits. For pipelines moved off Boomi Data Integration, idle time costs no task hours.

Matillion publishes no prices on matillion.com or maia.ai. Its Developer, Teams and Scale editions point to fixed annual packages with included credits. Scale adds hybrid deployment on your own hosted agent infrastructure, data lineage and streaming change data capture. Matillion's documentation (October 2026) lists a Contract, paid by invoice or through the AWS, Azure or Snowflake marketplaces, and Pay-Go by credit card, with no published rate per credit. It also lists a 14-day free trial with 500 credits.

An account holds one edition at a time. Without a credit price, you cannot model cost before a sales conversation.

11. Integrate.io: best for ETL and ELT on a fixed fee

Integrate.io builds ETL, ELT, Reverse ETL and CDC pipelines with drag and drop, a copilot and MCP, with optional code. In its own words, it prices them on a fixed fee with no usage-based spikes.

Per Integrate.io's pricing page (October 2026), Integrate.io Core costs $1,999 a month, billed annually, with no contract length stated. It covers unlimited data volumes, pipelines and connectors, in Integrate.io's own wording, with 60-second pipeline frequency and 30-day onboarding. The FAQ instead describes an Unlimited plan with no row limits and no pipeline caps that covers most, not all, customer use cases. The page does not say whether Core and the Unlimited plan are the same, so confirm before purchase. A 14-day free trial gives full access with no credit card.

Integrate.io's guided migration offers contract buyout support, but the platforms it lists, such as Informatica, Jitterbit and Matillion, do not include Boomi.

12. Latenode: best for low-code workflows with AI models

Latenode is a visual drag-and-drop builder with an AI Copilot in every workflow, an AI Agent builder, a headless browser and 335+ LLM models under one subscription. It suits Boomi teams whose processes are mostly app-to-app workflows with AI steps.

Billing counts CPU seconds of workflow runtime (runs times average seconds per run), not operations or steps. Cost depends on how long each run takes, so CPU seconds are not directly comparable with Boomi Messages, Mule Credits, Matillion credits or SAP messages.

The Free plan costs $0 a month with no credit card and includes 10,000 CPU seconds a month, 5 active workflows, 1 execution worker, a 3-minute limit per run and 3 days of history. Pay as you go has no base fee and includes the same 10,000 CPU seconds. After that it charges $0.00012 per CPU second from 10,001 to 100,000 a month, $0.00011 from 100,001 to 200,000 and $0.00010 from 200,001 to 300,000, with lower rates in higher brackets.

Runs stop at 10 minutes on Pay as you go (60 with an add-on). Nodes that call paid external providers also add PnP tokens at $1 each, billed by actual provider usage, on top of runtime.

Latenode pricing page: Free plan with 10,000 CPU seconds and Pay as you go runtime billing

Free and open-source Boomi alternatives

Several tools here offer trials, not free plans: MuleSoft and Celigo give 30 days, Integrate.io 14 days with no credit card, and Matillion 500 credits that expire after 14 days, per its documentation. Boomi's pricing page promises full platform access in its 30-day trial. Its editions documentation (updated July 23, 2026) instead describes a sandbox trial with no automatic scheduling and test runs capped at 100 documents or 10 MB, so confirm with Boomi which applies.

Apache Camel is open source under the Apache License 2.0, with 350+ connectors. Its own support is volunteer-based on public mailing lists, and it points anyone needing 24x7 production support to commercial providers. WSO2's open-source code is Apache-licensed, but production use of its supported distributions requires a paid WSO2 Subscription.

How to choose a Boomi alternative

  • Application or data integration. App-to-app syncs point to MuleSoft, Workato, Jitterbit, Celigo or Tray.ai; analytics loads into a data warehouse point to Informatica, Matillion, Integrate.io or SnapLogic.
  • Your ecosystem. SAP Integration Suite lists IDoc and RFC adapters and free SAP-to-SAP messages with prebuilt content; Azure Logic Apps is native to Azure. MuleSoft belongs to Salesforce, and Celigo sells prebuilt integration apps for NetSuite. For Salesforce or NetSuite, check each vendor's connector documentation for the objects you sync.
  • The pricing meter. Boomi Messages, Mule Credits, Workato credits, IPUs, Tray.ai Tasks, Matillion credits, Celigo endpoints, SAP messages and Azure actions do not convert into one another, so price one month of real traffic against each.
  • Runtimes on your own servers. Check SAP's edge integration cell (not in the starter edition), Matillion's hybrid deployment on Scale or Azure's Standard plan.
  • API management. Boomi sells it separately; MuleSoft, Workato (from Business MCP), SAP (from standard), Celigo and Tray.ai include it, and SnapLogic sells it as a paid upgrade.
  • EDI. Workato sells EDI powered by Orderful as an add-on, Azure needs a separate Integration Account billed by the hour, and SAP's standard edition adds business-to-business libraries.
  • Who will build. Apache Camel routes are code written in Java, YAML or XML, while Integrate.io offers drag and drop with optional code, and Tray.ai and Latenode have drag-and-drop builders. Training costs vary: SnapLogic includes online training in every package, and Workato sells onboarding and training packages on request.
  • Security and compliance. Workato's Standard edition has SAML SSO, MFA, role-based access control and encryption at rest and in transit, Matillion offers custom SSO only on Scale, and Integrate.io says it is SOC 2 certified and HIPAA and GDPR compliant.
  • Support and monitoring. Integrate.io includes 24/7 support on every plan, and Tray.ai includes observability and audit trails in every plan. Log retention limits how far back you can debug a failed run: Workato, which calls its workflows recipes, keeps 30 days on Standard and 90 on Enterprise MCP, and Matillion 90 days on Developer and Teams and 180 on Scale.
  • AI agents and MCP. Boomi puts an AI Starter Pack of six agents in every Integration edition. Celigo includes Agent Builder and an MCP Server in every edition, while Workato keeps Agent Studio for Workato ONE, and SnapLogic and Tray.ai sell agent building as an add-on.
  • Migration effort. Count processes, steps and enterprise connectors such as SAP and Oracle, then ask each vendor how it would move them.
