Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring LiveChat, Slack, and any additional nodes, donโ€™t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking โ€œRun onceโ€ and triggering an event to check if the LiveChat and Slack integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between LiveChat and Slack (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect LiveChat and Slack

LiveChat + Jira + Slack: When a chat is deactivated in LiveChat, a Jira issue is created to track the customer issue. A message is then sent to a Slack channel to notify the team about the new issue.

LiveChat + Slack + Google Sheets: Summarize LiveChat transcripts daily and post the summary to a Slack channel. Log key metrics, like the number of chats, in a Google Sheet.
