Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Jira, Sendy, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Jira and Sendy integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Jira and Sendy (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Jira and Sendy
Jira + Slack + Sendy: When a new issue is created in Jira, especially if it's critical, a message is sent to a designated Slack channel to notify the development team and project manager. Simultaneously, an announcement email is sent via Sendy to stakeholders.
Sendy + Google Sheets + Jira: This automation captures email campaign performance metrics from Sendy and logs them in a Google Sheet. If the performance (e.g., open rate) dips below a predefined threshold, a Jira task is created to investigate the issue.
