Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Jira, Simplesat, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Jira and Simplesat integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Jira and Simplesat (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Jira and Simplesat
Jira + Simplesat + Slack: When a Jira issue is updated (specifically, when it's resolved), a satisfaction survey is sent via Simplesat. The response to the survey is then shared in a designated Slack channel.
Simplesat + Jira + Google Sheets: When a new answer is received in Simplesat, the score is checked. If the score is below a defined threshold, a new bug issue is created in Jira and the answer details are logged to a Google Sheet.
