Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Okta, YouTube, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Okta and YouTube integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Okta and YouTube (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Okta and YouTube
Okta + YouTube + Slack: When a new event occurs in Okta, such as a user accessing YouTube, the flow checks for suspicious activity based on the event data. If the activity is deemed suspicious, a message is sent to a dedicated security channel in Slack.
YouTube + Okta + Google Sheets: When a new video is uploaded to YouTube, the workflow retrieves video information and correlates it with Okta user roles by fetching user data. This data, including video views and corresponding user roles, is then recorded in a Google Sheet for analysis and insights.
