Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Harvest, Scoro, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Harvest and Scoro integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Harvest and Scoro (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Harvest and Scoro
Harvest + Scoro + Slack: When a new time entry is created in Harvest, the automation checks if the total time logged for the associated project in Scoro exceeds the estimated time. If the logged time exceeds the estimate, a notification is sent to the project manager in Slack.
Scoro + Harvest + QuickBooks: When a task is updated to a completed status in Scoro, the automation retrieves the time entries associated with the task from both Scoro and Harvest. It then creates an invoice in QuickBooks, combining the billable hours and task details from both platforms.
